5-star hotel in a 15th-century palazzo in Florence's historic center

History & Accolades

Hotel Bernini Palace occupies a 15th-century palazzo known as Palazzo Naldini, once a noble residence in the heart of Florence. The hotel holds the British Airways Customer Excellence Award for 2023 and the Experts Choice Awards 2024. Its GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation confirms high sanitation standards, a distinction not all hotels achieve.

Rooms & Accommodations

Guest rooms feature antique furnishings and Murano-glass chandeliers, blending historical character with modern comfort. Family-friendly duplex rooms provide two floors of space, with one bedroom downstairs and another upstairs, each with its own private bathroom. The hotel offers 81 rooms total, including suites with views toward the Duomo or interior courtyards.

Dining & Bar

La Chiostrina Restaurant serves Italian and international cuisine in a setting that once hosted Parliament meetings when Florence was Italy's capital. The breakfast room features a frescoed ceiling and offers a buffet with fresh pastries, eggs, cold cuts, and made-to-order cappuccino. The on-site bar provides a selection of cocktails and a cozy atmosphere where guests can unwind after sightseeing.

Services & Pet-Friendly Amenities

The concierge team arranges personalized tours, restaurant reservations, and transportation, including airport pick-up and drop-off. Pets are allowed and receive special amenities such as pet baskets and bowls, making the hotel suitable for travelers with furry companions. Valet parking and a shuttle service are available for guests arriving by car.

Location & Nearby Attractions

The hotel is a 4-minute walk from the Uffizi Gallery and 200 meters from Piazza della Signoria. Ponte Vecchio is 500 meters away, and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. All major cultural sites, including the Bargello and Palazzo Vecchio, are within a short stroll.
